Last night it was around minus 15 Celsius in #halifax so I didn’t hang around and spend loads of time framing them. I was using my #canonr5 with the 50mm f1.8. Set the aperture to 1.8 iso to 1600 and let the shutter speed figure itself out. #nightphotography #novascotia #canonphotography

An easy shot to capture of the whole lighthouse as it’s from the first ridge of rocks you get to as you walk out from the lighthouse along the coast. I like to line up the door entrance and the sides so it’s as symmetrical as possible. #peggyscove #halifax #novascotia #lighthouse

So this here is the McKay bridge in Halifax, NS. It’s a great bridge to shoot and I got this from an angle I’d not tried before. I’m not normally happy with my handheld, long exposure but this one I enjoy. ISO 125, 27mm, f/2.8, 6.0sec #halifax #photography
