Communication isn’t just the ability to use language effectively to express thoughts or ideas. It’s also the ability to listen to what people say, process it, contextualize it, truly understand it, and integrate it with prior knowledge. Bad listeners are bad communicators no matter how articulate.

I made Chongqing noodles (Xiao Mian) for dinner last night, from scratch. I got the noodles all tangled up but that didn’t matter. My grocery store was out of bok choy so there were no greens in it. I was gonna substitute spinach or something, but I forgot. It is what it is. Recipes below… 🍽️

OTD in 1921, Sophie Scholl was born in Forchtenburg, Weimer Republic. As a child she joined the Bund Deutscher Mädel (League of German Girls), which was the branch of the Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth) for girls. It appeared that she would become a good Nazi, but she chose differently.

Why aren’t they using U.S.C. § 1182 (a)(3)(B)(i)(IV)(bb)? It reads: § 1182 Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, aliens who are inadmissible under the following paragraphs are ineligible to receive visas and ineligible to be admitted to the United States:
