The other nice thing is that because the dish is so shallow- it needs refilling daily which gives me a reason to pause and go outside to enjoy each day!

They are glass marbles and tumbled glass pieces that previously were used as a decorative 'mulch' for a potted plant that is no longer. I got the idea as I picked all of these pretty bits out of the pot to rinse them off and save them. The dish is a piece of vintage art pottery.

This one has been in this same pot since my grandmother had it! As long as the plant is doing well- I just leave it alone. Eventually, this old Mexican Terra Cotta will dissolve or break from root pressure and that will be my cue to find a new one. I am as sentimental about the pot as the plant.

... only in the late morning/early afternoon on the patio behind the house or in the enclosed veggie garden while my mom supervises. I love the sunshine. ❤️

So pretty! I always think it such a shame that Hellbores hide their faces by looking down.

I'm pretty certain it is German Chamomile as it reseeded itself. Both are good! howtoculinaryherbgarden.com/german-vs-ro...

I usually start them from seed in the greenhouse before planting out when they reach a nice sturdy size. I am in Southern California- Zone 10b. They seem to like it here.

Makes more sense now that we know he is in favor of nazis. Saying T is Hitler was a compliment in his mind.
