Alone, I usually swear to myself. Never, if there's a kid around.
If there is one... then I just swear at the kid. ;-)

Attributed to Socrates (469-399 BC) however...
Appears to be Kenneth Freeman, from his dissertation in 1907. Did not claim the passage was a direct quotation of anyone; instead, he was presenting his own summary of the complaints directed against young people in ancient times.
Still funny though!

No, it's not a jelly.
It's a free-swimming snail, a type of mollusk.

Yes Roland, but the word "theory" has 2 definitions, and this causes some confusion.
In science, theory, principle, and law represent established, evidence-based explanations accounting for currently known facts.
So evolutionary theory is a theory... A "scientific theory".

Read it many times and each time in Chapter XX, without fail,

"Sancho, it strikes me thou art in great fear."
"I am, but how does your worship perceive it now more than ever?"
"Because just now thou smellest stronger than ever, and not of ambergris."

NOTE: Yes, George Washington died way before 1836,
but this quote is from the book "Writings", an edition published in 1836.

Even the ones being lied to, they know they're being lied to. People watching Republican media don't care if it's a lie, as long as it's something they'd like to be true. They reject critical thinking, that's why they tune in.

I think it's not necessarily an error.
There's just no need to hide. Some have known for longer, but everyone now knows how things go in Republican media.

I can believe it.
Republicans have been waging war on truthful information for decades now.
