Thank you ππΌ
I just restarted therapy and my new person is very open to learning about neurodivergence. She said it's much more understood and accepted in therapy than in other medical areas.
I just blogged about it so won't post it all here.
How is your daughter managing?

Happy to hear that it helped you a little. I think it's the lack of support after diagnosis. I'm self employed so I've no employer to ask for accommodations. I work in a gym & tbh the manager there is clueless when it comes to DEI. Luckily I'm not affected & don't have to work with him

Do we think Charisma will ever be renamed as Rizz?

I'm still not sure if diagnosis would be useful for me tbh. I doubt it would change anything.

Hmmm, recommended then? It's been on my Blizzard as 'coming soon' for weeks now and I'm not sure yet.
Still very much a WoW player.

I used to get the opposite. My manager used to say I was funny in the work WhatsApp group. I was being serious. π

It's cool. Thank you. π I'm happy that you're finding this platform a lot more calming than the other place. It's so exhausting always being in survival mode. π

That's a great idea. I love that there's that kind of check in and support in that community. πππ

It's cool. Thank you for being a decent human. π
You're damn right this wouldn't have happened on the other app. Even on Threads now people just seem to want to fight with each other. It's awful. π So glad I left Meta.

Absolutely, energy management is so important for us. Getting enough sleep, eating properly and staying hydrated, sand also knowing what's likely to wipe us out and recognising when we're getting tired.
My interoception is crap, but I hope it's better than it was now I'm more aware.

RSD is such a bitch, but I really appreciate your reply.
I don't know how streamers have the spoons, so full credit that you found a way.
And I completely get having to be on the defensive and protect ourselves too. π«

I think you misunderstand. I wasn't trying to be negative, and was being genuine. π
Live streaming for accountability sounds like a good way to help yourself finish a game you might struggle with.
I honestly honestly wasn't being mean. π I'm also ND and it's something I'd do.

I saw the examples you posted last time. Not good. π
I don't think I move within circles of people who'd talk that way, but I hardly ever socialise amongst the general public so it's unlikely I'd hear it.
There's still so many who just don't get it.

Common method of telling if a woman was a witch.
Tie her up and throw her in a river.
Float = witch, so executed.
Sink = not a witch (but probably drowned).
The church has always hated women with a mind of their own.
Evil fucks then, evil fucks now.

π It's always amusing to me that interviewers ask why you want this job, as if you're meant to tell them that you long to spend hours working overtime because you love the work environment so much.
Mate, I just want to be able to pay my bills, eat, and not sleep on the streets.

I opted out of team building exercises at my place.
Why do we need ice breakers? We all know each other?
Why do we need games? Just tell me what I'm here for then let me leave!

I don't wear hats much because I overheat, but I hate when it blows my hair all over, and I was already pissed off because of an issue I didn't cause, so if this person had done their job properly I wouldn't have even been there wasting my time...and then they were late. Furious π‘

Agreed. I'm short sighted and if I'm sat in a place and it gets busy I often take off my glasses to make everything blurry outside my field of vision. It helps to muffle visual noise.
