Not surprised that it's community colleges that are fighting back. Community colleges serve the greatest number of people facing systemic barriers. A large percentage of community college students are the first in their family to attend college.

#WritersCoffeeClub 16. Is there a writer who surprised you recently? I read a lot of weird and wonderful fiction as a teenager & then did a degree in Eng Lit & Philisophy, so I think I'm pretty hard to surprise now. Plus, ME/CFS means I read super slowly, so my sample size has shrunk dramatically.>
