4. As for the voters, he's burning his base. People didn't vote Labour for even crueller policies than the Tories imposed. They voted for "Change". Perhaps some Reform voters will enjoy seeing disabled people getting beaten up, but that won't translate into votes. It's just loss, loss, loss.

3. On whose behalf are these disastrous policies imposed? They don't even save money: benefits shortfalls will need to be made up, one way or another, by local authority provision. They might keep the Daily Mail off his back for a day or two, but it'll find another reason to dump on him soon enough.
