Depends on what you want from a “Bard” character. Pathfinder’s Occult spell list is good at debuffing and Bard has full access to it, FFXIV’s Bard focuses more on buffing your allies and has a music mode. And who knows what other games’ Bards do

I think this research is interesting, but I think the data processing could’ve been better. I think it’d be interesting to see how Pot preformed between patches (since his “problems” started early 2025 IIRC) and how it differs between pros and various skill levels casual players

Location is more important than the datacenter or server, since you can freely travel between centers on the same continent (EU Chaos to EU Light, but not Chaos to NA Crystal). Though some nationalities/languages congregate and have larger communities on specific servers

The thing I can’t give a half-assed prediction on is BBB. They weren’t effective at dealing with their one issue, but I can see that the voters feel like they’re the only ones for them. That’ll be a wait-and-see

It also mismatches some of the original race+gender specific emotes. I’m playing a Femroe and the base Femroe emotes are more on the masculine side with a bit of elegance. Forcing cutesy on this (preestablished) type of character looks wrong

I think it’s also an issue that the genders are expressed one way and one way only. A girly girl is just as much of a woman as an elegant lady. But the general female emotes are mostly cutesy wutesy sweetie pie, as if anything else is wrong
