Exactly. Only psychopaths, the brainwashed, & people who've NEVER worked in a corporate office would want anything run "like a business" using USA's insane & toxic workplaces as a model. Our business culture has been hugely problematic for decades. Not only abusive but stupid af, wasteful, corrupt.

Have you tried meeting a French person online on Hellotalk or r/language_exchange? I met a French person on Hellotalk in the middle of the French course several years ago, and I think talking to her has definitely helped. Also have you tried reading a French book yet? Even just Le Petit Prince?

Von Trier's depression trilogy are the foundation to my relationship with my best friend π€ There's so much detail you're drawn to, and LVT consistently picks actors who can wrestle with the absurd and uncomfortable that balance these slow explorations into the psyche

Yes but from an Abrahamic monotheism perspective. The universe is so big, and humans such a small component of it, that we should humble ourselves by embracing the divine without forcing into one small box of human meaning π

Ah yes, of course it makes perfect sense that a bunch of men heavily influenced by enlightenment thinking would reinstate a system akin to medieval Catholicism, where only a priestly class of lawyers would receive the special training required to read the holy document of state.

You (dumb, absolute buffoon): Itβs literally the first sentence!
Me (smart, handsome): ha ha ha, see, you poor fool, I have unearthed the secret language of the long lost codexes, & what your small, uneducated brain can't comprehend is that this was written on Opposite Day
