Only 4.5% from what I could find. Doesn't take much to launch a Penguin I guess 😉

If this seems animated to you, you have been staring at a display for too long because I thought it was animated and had to confirm in another window that , yes , I have been staring at a screen for too long🫣👍
Excellent image🙏❤️

Interesting times☹️
Netherlands Warship and USA/RAF recon plane (best as I can tell from the contrail pattern)
Boys will be boys, what good are toys if you can't play with them☹️
I grew up playing with WWII army toys in the 60's and wanted to be a fighter pilot. Then came Vietnam and weed, ☮️❤️ out 🙂

Very Nice👍
Similar here in West Michigan a few days ago but less wind and greener grain - Winter Wheat? I'm no farmer but the pale sky is the start of the Canadian wildfires impacting us here now.

These are lovely!
The back of the threepence is especially interesting with the triskele like joining of the 3 C's. Never seen that before, but don't know a lot about UK coinage truth be told. When you grow up with basically 4 coin denominations in common usage it gets a bit overwhelming at times 😜

Thank You!
Boomer from Chicago Inner City and new it was Chicagoland but never saw the movie. Had friends in the Northern Burb's and probably saw it before they made the movie as I spent a bit of time up there.
Shows how different minds work, "where is this" means "where is this" not what movie 🙂

This pine flower from yesterday had solar augmentation as well, but not nearly as nice as yours -

Fantastic Image!
Thought it was a satellite photo at first, still not quite sure what I'm seeing but that's what makes it so interesting👍

They are just lost dogs from the other side of the pond in their usual seats😜
Which led me down the search rabbit hole where I found this handy bit of info 😉 www.fetchpet.com/the-dig/unsa...

They're oh so cute until they get into you attic. Destructive little buggers, I've got more than I need near me. They like Black Walnuts and the road across from me is lined with them. Need some American Martens to balance the population but they are rarely seen around here due to fur trapping☹️

"I went to a boxing match once and a Hockey game broke out in the stands" Rodney Dangerfield 😀
I live in rural Michigan now but the local Jr. College does have a rink, may check it out this winter - check one off the bucket list. Used to watch on TV with my Dad as a kid in the 60's, Blackhawks ruled

It just occurred to me I have never seen a Hockey game IRL despite growing up in Chicago in the days of Booby Hull before they had teams in Florida where they don't ever get ice on the ponds.
I have worked for ABC Sports and been on the field during Bears games, Speed Skating in Milwaukee, no Hockey

Proving that good band names work and there are still a few left, "All Girl Arson Club" caught my eye.

Cool Clip!
Keepin' the glass Kleen😉
Skies not so clean here today, smoke came down to earth behind overnight rain, hope it blows East tomorrow.
Just ventured out in the yard and discovered a lone Iris popped up from nowhere to share along with smokey tiny moon and view down the road. Good Night😀

"Attention K-Mart shoppers, Moonlight Special in aisle 16"
Sorry, couldn't resist😉
For us Boomers this is like the JFK assassination, we remember where we were when it happened.
I was at a neighborhood street fair and listened to it on a radio in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago.

Thanks for the links👍
Most folk don't realize these exist, let alone the number of hits with Bass VI parts from back in the day. If I remember right they were popular with session players.

When I was 9 or 10 I made a Fort Dearborn (Chicago) model using Carmel Apple sticks for the palisades. I think I got a gold star or something😉
You can buy them without the Apples as well😀

Great Capture!
There was a turtle in the bottom of this pic but it slid into the water before I could get my phone out.
They are almost always there on one side of the culvert or the other these days but seem to have a 6th sense whenever I try to snap them☹️

Good One!
On the theme of rusty wacky items these are both from a downmarket local lake side picnic spot from a few days ago. May both be from the same car? And Jimmy Hoffa's body could be in the car at the bottom of the Lake :)

"As I went walking I saw a sign there,
And on the sign it said "No Trespassing."
But on the other side it didn't say nothing.
That side was made for you and me.
(edit)
By the relief office I seen my people;
As they stood there hungry, I stood there asking
Is this land made for you and me?"

"The first Packard automobiles were produced in 1899, and the last Packards were built in South Bend, Indiana, in 1958."
There was a Packard dealership that I believe was still open for service until the 60's on Wells St. at the South end of "Old Town" that I remember from Chi.🤔

Wild weather here today, howling wind and 80's, overcast. Then around 5 squall came through, brief rain, temp dropped with the wind and mostly blue skies with incredible clouds.
Smoke gone (for now) and got out for a long walk.
Here's a tiny flipper moon with clouds trailing & drama sky.
Good Night😀

Lovely Photo!
They are magnificent birds, I get them in my yard regularly.
Sadly this one back in April was going a bit too slowly and got clipped by a vehicle down the road a bit. Was able to get an amazing close up of it's beautiful plumage though☹️

Here it's just the usual White Trash throwing their trash in the ditch. Actually considered grabbing the microwave, looked perfectly good but was 2 miles from home and headed in the opposite direction☹️

The production on this is amazing!
Doghouse Bass then sidestick and it just builds from there, ride comes in and finally full kit with what sounds like a marching snare, or at least 10" deep and the snare seems like it's off 'til the very end! Love how the elements keep adding🤩

What passes for archeology here ☹️
"coin" cell found by the road the other day, possibly late 20th century CR2032 Panasonic but heavily worn. Shown with modern Sony for comparison 😀
