It is up to us. Always has been. The trick is to act, which motivates elected Dems to “lead.”

Elected Dem inactivity makes so very much about them.

The truthful statement of fact in the title and blurb are what modern journalism should aspire to. You know, if modern journalism were actually a thing.

Embrace the Marines and National Guard. Respect that no one wants them to do what they are trained to do and give them space. Welcome them where peacefully possible.

The personal injury lawsuits should be interesting. That’s one way to blow through a yearly budget.

This would be too small?

I hate that you’re right.
I do like leading my coworkers down the 1950s “ideal” rabbit hole and then pointing out that wages were liveable, housing was cheaper, and science was leading.

I feel you. I’ve always thought that a relatively small fortune used for good would go a long way.

Like Starship was in the late ‘90s, but for books?

I really like where I’m at, but I’ll play along.
1) Booked passage on a freighter to anywhere, with a telescope on deck to see the southern hemisphere night sky.
2) Hermit dog owner. Preferably somewhere with year round snow and at least an hour from town.

McMahon probably felt the enormity of this deep in her soul…
Or, you know, the aide who had to carry those letters to the trash did.
How about actually doing something for your people besides being a self-appointed mail carrier? This old rules nonsense isn’t working.

I hadn’t thought much about this, but if I ever have to billet troops illegally in my home I’m going to become a nudist. It bears considering.

Have you noticed how all of Trump’s audiences lately have been captive ones?

It was good. Didn’t care for the ending, but by then I was dealing with this nonsense.

We are desperately clinging to a washer and dryer we got in 2010 because they are simple turn knob/press button things. Everything I see now is touch screen, and we can’t fix those. So far so good.

Waymo is officially doing its civic duty, being a focal point for frustration and opportunity - and thereby saving privately owned vehicles from the flames. Have you smoked a Waymo today?

“Trash” and “real” are so subjective. While there are a few authors I read for their voice on the page, I mostly just go for the story.
I’m gonna have a book in my hand or in my back pocket, and I’m going to be thought a nerd because of it by some. Life goes on.
