It should be noted Max has a third paid tier—Basic—which will not include B/R Sports (including AEW). Several other services, including Spectrum, Cricket Wireless and DoorDash, include a free Max Basic plan. If that’s how you’ve been getting Max, you’re pretty much SOL for sports and wrestling now

Excellent piece here. I really hope the next time Adam Silver has media availability, whether it's All-Star Weekend or another time soon, someone stands up and asks him about this point blank. It's inexplicable why the league allows its *partners* to routinely and flagrantly disparage its product.
