I sincerely hope that someone in a high enough position is getting in touch with these distinguished, experienced military leaders that are being fired or forced to resign.
The resistance could seriously benefit from their input.

4) you're not normally resident in a state, you can't vote in state elections.
The only REAL issue that I can understand Republicans might be concerned about, is that having been exposed to different countries & cultures, overseas voters are usually less xenophobic & more likely to vote Democrat.

3) Those not normally resident in a state (& checks ARE made), aren't eligible to vote in state elections. All US citizens are eligible to vote in presidential elections, regardless of residence status. Given all that, I fail to understand the issue regarding state elections in this article - if

2) I personally accessed the website of an overseas embassy for details about voting from overseas during '24. Overseas voters may not vote in local elections. They may only vote in state elections if they're normally resident in that state (students, miltary, etc. absent from the US short-term).

Dems probably thought they had another 4 years. Biggest mistake was allowing J6 story to fade, opening the door for bad actors to reinterpret it. Both it, & the actions of GOP should have compelled a sense of utmost urgency.
Downfall of the Dems for at least the past decade has been overconfidence.

It hurts having watched the GOP laying the groundwork for what's happening now over those 4 years, knowing exactly what they were doing, & what the end picture would be when the pieces were all joined up.
If a nobody like me could see it, I'm sure leadership did.
But hey, 'optics'.

I take this as a positive indication that the DC police aren't prepared to look the other way in deference to the regime - at least, not yet!

Although I think it may eventually come to that, I'm very much opposed to the use of violence in resistance unless the time comes when forced into it.

1) My frustration is with able-bodied people offering excuses for inaction.
I was living in Tehran during the Iranian revolution - a vocal, active minority overshadowing a silent majority that deluded themselves into believing that everything would work itself out eventually.

I seriously doubt the intent of this post was to specifically target MAGA. It targets many of 'us', too.

The story was of him hiring prostitutes to urinate on a bed that Obama once slept in.
There was more to it than just the word 'pee'.
