I would strongly recommend you don't get a hotel close to Narita - it's a rural area with nothing nearby, and you'll spend a lot of time on trains. If you take the Keisei Skyliner you can go from Ueno (northeast central Tokyo) to Narita in <1hr.

Hello, I live in Tokyo and help run @tokyoindies.com. Haneda is closer to central Tokyo (Narita is technically not even in Tokyo prefecture), and therefore smaller and usually more expensive / targeted to business travellers. If you can get it for the same price it's better, but no big difference.

So you make it a multi-day event, or do you just use the comment section?

I put an event on the start date and put all the details in the description, and move it around until I actually go. But talking to friends, everyone seems to do this differently.

Thanks! A lot of that comes from a soft filter for every shot but the first. With the roubai the light was just right.

There was also a CAT5 (not 5E) cable involved. All resolved easily enough, thankfully.

Confusingly, there was a separate "E-Packet" service. I don't remember ever using it and it was permanently suspended in 2023. If I remember correctly, it was faster and more expensive than Light, but not much cheaper than the much faster EMS, so there wasn't much reason to use it.

Eternal Filena is a pretty strange OVA, and it's fascinating that the novels are the longest original work by the lead writer on the Pokemon anime its first several years.

It's a personal domain I've had 15+ years that nobody else has an email address at. I've never run into anything like this and they have no appeal process. Weird.

I just saw Macross this week, that was great! Tenshi no Tamago is on Amazon Prime regularly but it'd be nice to be able to own it properly.

Panpanya is great and that is one of their best strips. It should be in one of the translated books too.

Here's what I picked up! The bird familiar from Dungeon Meshi and the orange creature (Anomalocaris?) are by Science Patrols, the kitsune is designed by Nakamura Kyouko and made by artisan toy.

She's still active, the site is just kind of out of date, unfortunately.

Tomiyoshi does incredible work with mechanical pencils. There's no public story but a lot of the art has a consistent setting. tomiyoshi-enpitsu-gallery.jimdofree.com/2019%E5%B9%B...
