went from a windows surface 7 to a surface 11. i work in csp.
surfaces are expensive so if you can swing a cheaper tablet, i'd do that instead.
csp goes on sale a lot for like, $30. don't buy the update subscription, once a new version comes out, you can just upgrade wholesale.

i tried to do a painterly style that year and while the clothes turned out really good...the face was busted, i think we can admit lol. the ambience is incredible though.

this was the year i really started buckling down on learning art instead of just "doing it for fun". i think you can tell in my colors. also was the year i began to fall in love with lineart and crosshatching.
tbh this was my favorite christmas redraw so far.

i was still trying to be anime-esque but it came off looking more american-cartoony. i really thought i cracked the face shading code lol. however the shading on the clothes is nice
still with the weird eyes...
