When I was 15, 16, I spent a lot of time in front of screens - small and big - watching Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche in “Wuthering Heights” and “The English Patient”. They were formative for me. I’ve yet to watch “The Return”. This interview makes me and my inner teen so happy. 🥰

And that’s why Better call Saul is so masterful and ultimately better than BB. Kim Wexler is a good guy. Jimmy tries but fails. VG has a good point and he’s earned this perspective. I also think the complex anti-hero is so ingrained in popular American culture, this won’t have an effect.
