Booker could not have prevented Kushner from winning the ambassador role. But being the lone democrat yes, the day after his NJ colleague was arrested, hawking a book based on his 25 hour speech helped kill the goodwill he earned for that. Nothing he could have changed, but bad reading of moment.

But if we firebomb the Walmart, then people will see the truth of what we are saying. That being said, the under-reaction of centrists isn't helping either. Arresting members of congress, handcuffing staff and just carrying on as usual, feeds the fanatics sense of escalation as the solution.

My grandfather came over to the US from Norway when he was 40 and never could master the English J even though he was very fluent. His favorite show was Yeopardy.

"We fired half of our customer service staff 8 years ago, and since then, well you are going to have to wait a while, so suck it up buttercup", would be a bit more honest.

I don't want to see a single person saying this was warranted by the carnage in Gaza, that this was for Palestinians. I am a Palestinian person and I do not want senseless acts of terror committed in my name. I don't want Jewish organizations to need extra security because of fear of violence.

You get in an accident and are paralyzed, you can absolutely live a full and meaningful life. This still doesn't mean you don't wish you could walk again.

After Russia takes out schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, kidnaps children and puts them up for adoption in Russia, the important thing to worry about are the poor bombers. They are innocent. Bombers don't kill civilians, people do.

Waiting 18 months until the timing was right is something rare. The urge to pull the trigger earlier must have been immense.

Yup. Totally not happening. There will be massive amounts of robots, on dozens of trips digging a huge fucking hole in the ground deep, constructing protection from radiation, before a human colony can even survive. The Musks of the world will have no patience for that.
