Since making them thicker I haven’t had one break in a couple years And if I bang it around too much, occasionally the glass pops out so I do recommend a little caution but I’m also the person who regularly ruins sunglasses and watch faces with my carelessness.

Yes I wear them every day but I am a little more conscious about it than I would be with metal and a pronged setting. After much trial and error, I realized the bands have to be thicker than metal bands or they tend to snap…

I think in general, my opinion was always that it was none of my business what people want to be. It became a top of mind issue when I learned my friend’s daughter is trans and hearing their story.

I’ve been watching a live cam of an owl sitting on her two eggs for a month. I can’t comprehend the sheer *tenacity* of doing this! She leaves for maybe 5 mins twice a day. Otherwise, she is sitting in this nest box all day every day.
