The SS was computerized back when COBOL was the hotshot programming language. The problem is that COBOL had no way to accommodate a null set, so if someone didn't know their birthday (or couldn't document it) they put a zero which needed to correspond to a date so it defaulted to 1875. End of story

Did Trump have a stroke? I was watching him sign Exec. Orders and talking, and it looked to me like his right eye was saggy and only the left side of his mouth moved when he talked. I remember when he went dark for a few weeks in December, and his lifestyle is risky. Any Med. Pros have thoughts?

I did my best to pay attention to the Inauguration speech. All I heard was Culture Wars stuff and a few reprises of his discredited 'America First' tariff stuff. Pablum for the base, I guess. The Oligarchs just nodded along. I think that they know better.

LA Fires: Where is everyone gonna go? I read that 9000 homes have been destroyed and looking at the neighborhoods, these aren't folks who happily post up in a Riverside Motel 6 for 3 years while the home is rebuilt. Insurance will cover lodging for some, but a lot got cancelled recently. Ideas?

That Trump hasn't denounced Musk yet confirms that Musk is funding Trump's personal life. That we now have a Funding President and an Elected President and a President-In-Waiting (Vance) is peculiar and I'm wondering if Popcorn or a nice Bunker is called for. What say you?

We also should learn summaries of the sensitive files he hoarded. Not details, of course, but something like "Summary of Russia's social media influence campaign' or "Estimated time and steps to reinforce Poland if attacked from the East". Stuff like that. What did the grifter find valuable?
