Plz note: I am not saying ppl should go turn up.
I am talking about the folks who keep saying stay calm.
This is about them, not the ppl risking their bodies to exercise their 1A rights

It's extremely lazy to me to come on the internet and request perfectly curated directions for protesting.
Resistance is organized, but scrappy. One day one strategy works, another day another strategy works. You learn. You act. You adapt. Rinse, repeat. There is NO silver bullet way to do this.

It spread. Maybe went semi-viral.
Person did their idea every day. Because fuq accolades and mass media attention.
Others slowly started to show up. Slowly support grows. Slowly word spreads.

These things are happening. Most activism is local. If you want something national, the stop Tesla folks have specific actions and it clearly is working. The point is that it is a choice to not know of any actions local or national. Just because you feel shame doesn’t mean you’re being shamed.

And if you can’t be the one to travel, maybe you can be part of the ones who help make it happen for other people.

If you’re going to advocate for peaceful protests, you need to proactively acknowledge that
a) cops/ICE escalate peaceful protests into violence
b) media regurgitates official narratives that lie about protester violence and highlights sensational video without context to support those narratives

If you are less than their version of calm and peaceful, then you provoked the reaction.
They can throw their hands up and say “welp! you didn’t do it our way which really means you didn’t stay home”

It’s an adjustment. Just keep listening to your body and I know you don’t know me from a hole in the wall, but there’s a whole online community of ppl who have been or are where you are that can offer a lil support

Jade, you need it too. Desperately.
It’s not selfish to take what you need in order to independently do your life things.
I say this as a disabled person

Yes he did. So I think you and your colleagues need to do something actionable to stop him, besides strongly worded letters. #DoSomethingNow
