Yep, to quote George Carlin "They're all in favor of the unborn. They'll do anything for the unborn. But once you're born, you're on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you."

Well, #1 Krasnov NEVER should have withdrew the US out of the deal we had with Iran. While some lawmakers advocate for limiting the President's ability to act without congressional approval, others emphasize the importance of supporting Israel and counteracting Iran's nuclear ambitions.

The GOP is preparing for the rapture. I checked my calendar and don’t have time for that this year. Next year isn’t looking good either. They should probably just go ahead and rapture on their own. 😳

The fact that it is almost impossible to sue a federal agent for malicious prosecution helps one understand why they charge everyone and their grandmother for "assault" at the drop of a hat.

It really is standard baloney. End Qualified Immunity! Firefighters, soldiers, truck drivers, clinicians, veterinarians, Line Cooks, Bouncers, and contractors don’t get it. Why should cops get to screw up folks’ lives with absolute impunity like they’re billionaires?

When I was an Assistant DA in Manhattan we would frequently see cases in which the only charges were disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. It was a red flag that the officers didn't respond appropriately.

When the SC determined that police were only required to protect property, their immunity against litigation should have ended. When insurance companies no longer cover law enforcement, things will change fast.

In case it needs to be said, this is not a novel observation on my part. People of color have been subject to police abuse like this since there have been police. The novelty is only that elected officials are being subjected to the same treatment on camera.
