Yea, that would be a head scratcher. It would be hard to argue he's best player available. So the plan is to draft a OL (massive position of need) with a possibility he hardly plays for a year? Better of trading down and taking a guard.

We are at the point where a filthy rich dude buying a car for a rich dude is a feel good story lol

Also the 16th reliever on the depth chart (I'm exaggerating but not by that much...)

I understand that and 100% agree. Everyone should vote, I'm talking about the specific political activation of people beyond simply voting in the presidential election.

Perhaps just my perception but a major reason so many have low involvement is they increasingly feel poorly represented by either party and therefore become difficult to engage. Party system is a larger problem than most acknowledge.

You summarized this well. Bregman and Hoerner have both basically been 4 WAR players. In the end, it's essentially trading cap space for a prospect. Given where we are in the offseason, there is quite a bit of risk... Unless they don't believe in Shaw at 3B.

The thing is, Reichel isn't finishing but he occasionally flashes talent and the Hawks really have no reason to give up on him. I agree, sit Maroon (or Craig Smith) instead.
