I hate anecdotes but this makes me think of that border patrol officer who had a record of calling Guatemalans by a racial slur who ended up murdering one of them and that ICE attorney who was unmasked as one of the most prolific racists on twitter

It also takes forever to go through the hiring process for a job with the federal government. In the interim you have to support yourself somehow. No one “has” to do this work any more than they “have” to work at Target.

They’re pursuing the end of Iran’s nuclear program and its ability to sow terror in the region. It’s not 2003.

Iran is the black hand behind practically all of the disorder in the Middle East since we invaded and cutting the ayatollah’s balls off could be lasting peace to the region.

Iran having nuclear weapons is bad. If you disagree you’re a fucking moron.

Iran and their proxies started something they couldn’t finish and now they have to live with the consequences. May the ayatollah fall.

I’m teaching a class this summer to some Chinese high school students and one of my main sources is this. I’m reading it now, still on like chapter 2. But I lived there a long time and I knew a lot of this already. Anyway, this is like PRC backwards.

I’m not saying he’s right to terrorize the undocumented. I’m just saying this is another community of very marginalized people that can’t defend itself because even by speaking up, anyone who tries that marks themselves for ICE.

There’s some adage at there about crime and the police: the criminal needs to get lucky every time they’re in a jam, but the cop only needs to get lucky once.

Trump isn’t being resisted enough. Democrats are shitting the bed. The courts are slow. And he’s been defying court orders.

No GMU grads though. That’s like having less than zero knowledge of economics.
