A smirk tugged at Steve's lips. “I wish you'd join me sometime. I could teach you a thing or two.”

“That’s true, but art’s just a hobby for me, Shellhead. You should really take it easy. I wouldn’t want you to burnt out.”

“Used to. I don’t have much time for art these days.”

Steve finished slicing the rolls, then placed them on the tray and moved to slide them into the oven. “Not at all. I just like making them.”

"Maybe," he murmurs, "but let's just hope it's and oddly quiet day." He turns around, smiling at her. "What have you been up to? I haven't seen you around the tower lately."

Steve grinned, feeling the warmth of Tony's presence pull him deeper into relaxation. “Guess I don’t mind staying here, then,” he murmured, his thumb gently brushing over Tony’s arm. He shifted slightly, nestling in closer to Tony. "Thank you," he breathed. "I needed this."

Steve offers a lazy smile as Tony settles him in their bed. “Maybe some pizza? We can have a lazy day together.” He extends his hands toward Tony, asking him to join him.

Steve lifted his head just enough to look at him. "Yeah, I'm exhausted."

Steve huffed a soft laugh, his arm looping around Tony’s neck as he settled into his arms. “Maybe we can rest together, yeah?”

Kissing his cheek. "I'm glad you think so."

Steve’s smile softened, and he nodded. "No need to apologize, Janet. Everyone needs a break sometimes." He leaned against the railing, looking out over the city. "It’s nice to just be here, though. Good to see a friendly face first thing in the morning."

Steve watched her scan the designs, a small smile forming. "Well, I wouldn't say 'the best.' Just... someone who liked to sketch." He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "I figured if anyone could make these feel like us, it’d be you," he continued, glancing over the designs as well.

"Yeah, I think that would help. I need to get out of here."
