And I've seen about a zillion of the same comment from the right- "But those are different!"

Of course-you are correct.

Lee Zeldin. Tried to win the governor's seat in NY and when that didn't work, he crawled farther up Trump's butt and is now head of the EPA.

Also from the Post-"Boetler last registered to vote in 2022 as a Republican." A local reporter interviewed his best friend who said he was a staunch Republican and voted for him twice.

Please direct us to your post where you said the same about 1/6. We'll wait.

I wish the media would show these videos

They look like they could be the Proud Boys that Trump pardoned. Same costume.

Early 70s I was a bridesmaid in my godfather's wedding. We had gowns of different pastel colors. Bride wanted us to dye our hair pastel like they did in the 50s and 60s to match whatever color our gown was. Fortunately, that got nixied.

I didn't find out until this morning that TACO is Trump Always Chickens out-referring to his yo-yo on tariffs. New Trump gang tattoo I guess.

Sad thing for us of a certain age is-some won't get it.

And the story about how atheist men should have to watch their wives and daughters raped and murdered.

Went to a Mexican restaurant in San Diego on a trip years ago. When I asked for Coke, waiter said "Mexican or American" So I gave Mexican a try and haven't looked back. Can't give that up. Thankfully, I don't drink a lot of soda.

Love him! Wish more of them would stand up to the MAGAts

I didn't go with the 2 comforter idea. I got a bedspread that went all the way down to the floor on both sides. There was always just enough left for me.

Progressive in some ways, but is not as welcoming of LGBTQ as Francis was.

I needed these when my kids were learning how to drive. I didn't know you can buy them either.

32 people on a yacht that is supposed to hold 16. Influencers by definition have knowledge and/or expertise in a certain area. Obviously, none of them knows anything about boats.

My friend got kicked off because of a password issue. Prior to that she had been deluged daily with Trump and Republican emails. The day she got kicked off FB the emails also stopped. Thinking Zuck is selling email lists to the grifter.

I read in another story that he is on a protocol to control everything. It was working perfectly, but he decided to go off most of his meds.

Yes. For now anyway.

There's 2 big tourist towns in the NY Adirondacks that rely on Canadians for at least 40% of their summer revenue. Hotels are reporting most have cancelled and yearly visitors aren't returning. And that's just Canada.
comment in response to post
I think tourism down 20% is way low. We will find out when summer gets here.

Same...upstate also. Price Chopper has a sale this week on all the berries. When I went, there were plenty and the entire produce section was well stocked.

As soon as I heard, I was suspect

I thought the same when I heard about it.

Hopefully, there's enough Canadians that see this guy is Canada's Trump and send him packing.

Especially today in my area. Every restaurant and veteran's organization hosts a fish fry dinner and we atheists all come running.

I thought it was because he crossed state lines into PA where he was caught. But the federal charges are two counts of stalking and one count each of murder through use of a firearm, and a firearms offense. So I'm confused, too.

Aside for the absurdity of this (and nothing will be done about it) I love how she's referred to as his "current wife". As if there's an expectation there will be more down the road.

It's his house. Which is why I can't understand why they didn't figure this all out before she moved in since he also claims to be allergic to them.

What else does it mean aside from I Love You in sign language?

I'm thinking mid or late June unless something holds it up.

She's supposed to be sworn in on 4/1. Gov. has 10 days from then to come up with a date for the election that has to be held within 70-80 days.

Gendebien is a farmer running in a farming district and he truly cares. But it's Stefanik's seat in a deep red district. Poor guy doesn't stand a chance. MAGA could burn down their house and take all their money and these people would still vote R.

He's only 4. But I agree -who is paying for everything for him? Oh yeah, you and me.

BOTH of my senators let us down today. And I've been wishing someone would primary her since she did that to him.

It's a state charge, so thankfully he can't pardon him.

Have you noticed that he never, ever mentions the kid who "shot" him? If he really did, Trump would never shut up about him.

Sorry to say not only didn't nazi salutes and J6 wake them up-today didn't either. I made the mistake of dropping in on Elon's hellscape and they all were yelling that Trump owned him. Already have memes.

Yes. Quick thinking saved some lives. Then he radioed the tower and said "OK. How did that happen?"

Doesn't matter which Eagles you're talking about. The band definitely wouldn't go to the White House either.

He's not a congressman. He's a parody account.

I can't believe she kept going as long as she did. I was exhausted reading it.
comment in response to post
Agreed. We've got snow coming today and ice tomorrow. High winds tomorrow night. Feel sorry for the people that had a long weekend.
comment in response to post
Yeah. I was going to say I'm so old I consider the Eagles a boy band.

If you live in rural America, sure. A lot of cities, towns and suburbs don't allow having chickens

Exactly. Someone on the news said his plans included everything except the blueprint for a new Trump tower.
