It was a really good sequel! Loved every section, and I might 100% it. I also really love this track. Need a full version 😭

....omg, you're probably right 😭

Would you say ZZZ stuck out in terms of story quality compared to other hoyoverse games? Only game I played in that bubble was Genshin.

Decided to start a proper KR watch from heisei phase 1, but wondering if I should spin back to the showa era at some point. Which entries do you recommend?

or maybe I just don't fw most knight characters πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ

We're in the final stretch though, and there's still time for that to take place, so I'm not gonna think on it too much. Gavv has yet to prove my doubts right.

Something that has been bothering me for a while, is how we haven't seen a character resist the allure of dark treats. The only time its happened, it predated the show in a flashback, and it was a kid. It'd be nice to see an adult hold back as well, and not just have to see blatantly evil granutes.

So I was starting to wonder if reformed granutes were just not going to be a thing again til the epilogue or smth. Before the reveal, he briefly talks about forgetting what the true joy of making sweets was like- but the flashbacks indicated he might have been just another dark treat junkie.

This plot point has been on my mind for a minute, so I'm psyched that its playing out now- and, once again, in a way I wasn't expecting. Not because its particularly subversive, but because there have only been 3 "reformed" granutes so to speak, and 2 of them were victims themselves.

Having guilty nightmares, getting his brother killed, probably gonna be taken advantage of by Lizel in some depressing fashion- I don't know whats going to be at the end for Jeebh, but 🍿

Also liked how Hanto made sure to distinguish the difference between Shouma and Lakia's circumstances, in spite of Shouma saying they were the "same" in relating to how he wanted to hide his granute self from others. Because some shows really be stretching the- "You're just like me" bit πŸ˜πŸ™πŸΏ

The very visible guilt Lakia felt about another mass disappearance was nice to see, considering how stoic he can be most of the time. But then again, he's been more expressive generally speaking for a while now.

A lakia plot about him revealing his initial motivations to sachika just might happen alongside, which leads to a new form. I think I saw a pudding cup in at some point, but I didn't save it because I thought I'd see it again πŸ˜”

But I wonder if this means no more minions fighting with him aside from Blizzard Sorbet. Because lets be real, after the show gave that form the whip sword, it basically eliminated any reason to use Caking Amazing beyond the lack of time limit. Man, I'm going to miss that form.

I think this is the only way I'd be comfortable him attaining this form beyond just making the Gochipod himself, like his other super forms. I like the 100 Gochizo cost considering he has them out the wazoo anyway.

In regards to the Gochipod? I like it. I like how Dente was removing teeth just to make it durable enough, really emphasizing the lengths he'll go to repent. Because designing and building is the easy part for him, but the *sacrifice* to his OWN health is what makes it fire to me.

Lango gets low diffed by this and dies. Not really saying much till the end besides "don't get cocky." Can I just say that this is a *way* more interesting use of the revolve system than Geats, where revolve system WAS the gimmick? I wonder if maybe they realized that and wanted to have a 2nd go.

This, in turn unlocks Master Taste, fast form able to use weapons from other gochizo (i.e - Chip swords and Choco gun), but lacking the natural raw strength of Over Energy But the mastery is the tandem switching between it and Over Energy in the fight to surpass the auto walls Lango puts up.

But WHAT REALLY solidified the true debut of his final form mastery, was the monologue response he gives to Lango to his comment about his birth. He reflects on his appreciation for the happiness he's experienced from episode 1 till now. From being helped to helping others. He's glad to be alive.

But the brief depression Lango sends him down is immediately counteracted by the waves of thanks people felt for those that recognized Gavv- even that very mother from episode 1. WHICH WAS JUST 🀌🏿🌟 With renewed determination, even if its just to slow Lango down, he's gonna do his best.

Often when I watch shows w/ kind hearted protags, I expect for their abusers to have some kind of tragedy or reason to be posed sympathetically. So I'm glad they kinda doubled down on Lango's unnecessary hate towards him, and not prop him to be liked beyond his granute family.

Which leads into- a predictable interaction, but not one that I was expecting to hit hard. Lango saying he shouldn't have been born, and that there's no reason for him to continue existing. Which reminds him of not only familial rejection from his childhood, but being called a monster in episode 1.
