This erosion of reality is part of the ecosystem that allows Poillievre and Smith to say such ridiculous, patently untrue things … and get away with it.

Any reasonably well-informed person will see what it is once they start reading - the red flags abound - but I know a distressingly large number of people that are not good at catching red flags and could easily be sucked in by something like this. Maybe not […]

That's not to say this is a safe moment, it's the opposite.
We have a cornered animal for a president and it is not going to go well.
Again, all he can really do is escalations and variations on his themes at this point.

I had a group lesson night (violin and viola) when only 3 showed up, ages 5 & 6… I made a goofy reference to a Bananaphone and learned they had never *heard* of Raffi, so we pulled it up online and learned to play along. Definitely a hit with them!

Anyone who trots out that old saw is immediately discredited as a source for *anything* in my books bc it’s such a mind-numbingly obvious error to anyone with even a little breadth of knowledge, or who is willing to ask even a few very simple questions.
