Ian, you lack insight and it continues to impact your reputation and ability to live up to the responsibilities as a journalist and national figure in Canada. The thing you’re known for most at this point is the chronic inability to ever take feedback and corrections when the stakes are high.

By the number of comments vs likes, I'd say more than some people are upset & rightfully so. Why not use your platform to discuss how Canadians and our allies are standing together in opposition to Trump's vile threat?

The framing is wrong, plain and simple. The way the conversation is packaged legitimizes a question every one of your Canadian viewers finds abhorrent (and illegitimate).
Change it, say mea culpa, do the show, and move on. Wouldn't recommend digging your heels in on this one.
