It’s so darkly funny and bizzare that Musk ran Twitter into the ground and it appears he’s literally following the exact same playbook to run the entire fucking US Government into the ground.

One thing Democratic leadership could do right now is to name an alternate HHS secretary--someone to provide ongoing public updates and health information. And do it for other departments too. Tiring of “people didn’t vote for this”. Yes, actually they did. He’s doing exactly what he said he’d do. We can claim voters were ignorant maybe, but 77M people did in fact vote for this. We need to move past “it’s not who we are” because, unfortunately, it is.
