This isn't complete, it's not conclusive, but I think it shows how powerful both stealer log data is, and also how combining sources together can supercharge investigations which without that seed stealer log data, would take months if not years to get anywhere. It's the definition of #OSINTForGood

Simply by searching the name of one platform referenced in the blog, we can quickly identify a handful of IP addresses, from there I queried Darkside within Maltego to find some breach information, from there a combination of OSINT Industries and Pipl to identify potential abusers. So quick, so easy

Probably added around 300GB and hundreds of millions of records today alone. One priority soon is to try and streamline the data. Using Qgrep is great but I think there’s bound to be some efficiency savings we could use too.

That's fair and totally understandable. I guess something like a "names changed for obvious reasons" could also make sense to show a methodology, but you're completely right about not compromising a real case.

Feel like this would make an excellent case study in a blog or YouTube video @dutchosintguy.bsky.social!! It shows both analysis and as Micah rightly points out, why having a seasoned hand is also important.

Absolutely! International members get access to the Discord Server and can still attend events. Of course our focus is on developing OSINT capabilities within the UK, but you'll see our webinar guests are both UK-based and international. It's all about #OSINTForGood 🤝🕵️

Furthermore, this Sunday, I will be chatting live with Ben Heubl and his view on the recent US Election. Should be an interesting insight from an investigative journalist so looking forward to that one too!
