This band keeps hitting right. The new album sounds like a return to form.

Underachiever.

It is impossible to overstate this. I lived in the U.S. for six years, and am back in Ontario now, and the relief of being here matches the horror I feel for back there.

His glasses sliding down his nose from his face sweating and his inability to adjust them perfectly captures the anxiety and tension of that scene.

Also Tramell Tillman deserves so many awards for his role as Milchick. What an unreal talent. I don’t think an actor has ever shifted my entire mood with a change of gaze or twitch at the corner of the mouth quite like him.

10/10 at its worst. It’s phenomenal. Most original idea, sci-fi or otherwise, I’ve seen aired. Totally original idea / concept—I can’t think of a single thing it’s “based” on. Plus on principle, I love that it’s not a reboot, remake, sequel, or adaptation.

S01 had the hallway and Irv’s innie hallucinating his outie’s black paint, but Woe…Woe was another level.

You’ll lose sleep over it, but you’ll be glad you did.

Severance will ruin other TV for you. It’s that good.

It does, and it gets better. So, so much better.

Have no fear—the reference is from 2013 (an internet lifetime ago.)

That’s some Jaden Smith-level dialogue.

I love when a developer shows that they care that much about their product. I get the sense it’s art to them first and commerce second (though I always hope passionate creatives pay their bills with their creations, and I’m certainly happy to contribute my few bucks.)

Added to my to-watch! I’ll save this for after I’ve dug my heels further into the game.

You’re awesome, thank you! Decent quality piece for the price?

Perfectly said. It’s just so incredibly well-designed—procedural encounters, gameplay / combat balance, etc. The art & character design is utterly top-notch.
Reviews have called it possibly the best game of all time—lofty accolade for a smaller developer, but Supergiant doesn’t miss, do they?

Having a serious one! No other game has made me feel like “oh good, I died, what’s next?”

You’re in for a treat in many ways with Borderlands (to the tune of thousands of hours spent, if you’re anything like me)!

Couldn’t agree with you more. Cage Blanchett is a gem (Hela? Tár?) and I’ll give her a chance as Lilith, so…we shall see!

The only non-disastrous casting decision was Jack Black as Claptrap, and I’d love to be proven wrong but I’m not counting on it.

Oh this movie’s going to be horrendous. I can’t wait to see it.

Get into the Borderlands series as a whole. It displays wholesome representations of same-sex relationships, trans and non-binary characters, anti-ableism, mental health, etc. Gearbox really did do their due diligence in this regard.

“Hardly touched the main quest yet” is why I put 400* hours into each of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. I love game environments where the player can just kind of go and be. The storyline is there, but look at this big wide new world to explore!
You’ve sold me.

Nice! I’m considering it on Switch. Worth the $30?

Yes. That’s what’s up.
I have a playlist of all OST songs from the whole series, BL1 to New Tales and TTWL. Happy to share it with you if you have Apple Music.

Which one? They’re all aces but Krieg’s is like…didn’t expect the feels.

Takes getting used to but it’s very rewarding having the whole series in a portable format.

Sanctuary III’s theme alone is worth idling in-game for.

I can see it on iOS 17.
