So the Remix / React Router situation has me thoroughly confused. If I'm wanting to start a new 'Remix' project today– which I intemperate as a full-stack app–should I be using Remix or React Router 7 in 'Framework' mode? 🤷

I've been thinking about a substack alternative, where the main selling point is the editor and publishing experience. As well as BYO domains, folks can BYO hosting, as each blog would be exported as a static site. The network is still there for discovery, but there's no platform lock-in.

I love this sentiment and revisit it often. I tend to treat everything as if it's a tattoo - permanent. This normally leads to not starting because I'm worried about making an irreversible decision. I need to do better a treating things more like a Hat or a Haircut.

The conversation of 'projects you're proud of' came up at work today and I was reminded of Bip. Steph I started working together on Bip in 2011 when he had an initial prototype but needed help with the design. At the time there wasn't much like it and 'flat design' hadn't yet become a topic.
