Wall Street bets discord is so goddamn funny right now

this is a straightforward delusion

“March” coming soon for subscribers. landing.bandcamp.com/subscribe

I feel like you can support Trump’s wicked immigration policy, OR celebrate St Paddy’s day, but you can’t do both.

HASSAN: If directed by the president to take action that would break the law, would you follow the last or follow the president's directive? DR OZ: The president would never do that HASSAN: That's absurd. And a disappointing answer.

This is what a privatized USPS will look like. Rural customers will get hit hard. These people, many of them poor and elderly, rely on us to deliver their medicine.

The USPS is the nation’s lifeline, ensuring delivery to every corner of the country. We cannot allow it to be dismantled, sold off, and handed over to Wall Street billionaires for profit. Privatization would increase costs, reduce access, and be an utter disaster.

Save the USPS. www.change.org/p/save-the-u...

Today, I joined over 150 of my Dem colleagues to call out Pres Trump's firing of the USPS Board of Governors. The USPS is often the only carrier that delivers vital supplies, like meds, to our rural areas. We should be investing in the USPS, not finding ways to remove its independence & shutter it.

You can now stream our new album, Tendrils, to your heart’s content! We humbly ask, if you don’t mind, to spread the word if you feel so inclined. We have no promotional budget and gave up trying to garner reviews years ago, so it’d mean a lot for you to repost, add us to your…

Elon Musk wants to run the government like a business. Specifically this business. www.tomsguide.com/news/live/x-...

Definitely don’t believe what you are seeing happen in front of your face.

Trump now seizing the USPS. The USPS board has retained counsel to fight him. Breaking a 250 year precedent. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

R1 by me is available now for subscribers at landing.bandcamp.com 🌊

Some new music I’ve been enjoying…

It will never be profitable to deliver to the rural customers I deliver to. The USPS should be considered a service, not a business. It's ironic that the rural customers who would be most affected by privatization also happen to disproportionately vote for Trump and republicans ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #usps

My band, Landing, has a new subscription track out today! Happy Thanksgiving- I’m thankful to still be making music with my best friends 26 years on ❤️ landing.bandcamp.com/subscribe

The problem isn’t government waste. The problem is that billionaires don’t pay taxes.

No war but the class war

Good morning, and happy birthday to Pete Kember and Jason Pierce.

Absolutely stunned that Hulk Hogan passed over for AG

No call yet, but here's my take on what happened. Dems had an obvious comeback plan for 2018/2020, less clear now where they build a new majority. www.semafor.com/article/11/0...

I continue to think that we won’t see a 2017-style liberal media addiction/subscription surge. Anger at how the media covered this, no more sense that something could break and end his presidency… I just see a lot of people tuning out for a bit.

I still think Harris wins this but at some point we should discuss how two months of outreach to Republicans produced no benefit whatsoever. All it did was stop her ascent and cap her support at 49%.

Just remarkable how "old person won't retire" has driven history for the last 15 years. Kennedy not resigning after brain cancer diagnosis -> Scott Brown Feinstein staying on past prime and bungling hearings -> Kavanaugh/Barrett RBG Biden

My band is 25 years old today 🎈

BTW if/when you ever feel "I just want some peaceful gentle mostly instrumental shoegaze music to zone out to" Landing has had your back for years and years. This compilation/rework of recent stuff just came out the other day and fits squarely in the vein.

Listening, as one does, to some elegant shoegaze from masters of the form Landing, courtesy @aaronsnow.bsky.social and company. There's almost thirty years worth of music on their site and all of it is really wonderful, but right now it is indeed the recent _Motionless I-VI_ release getting an ear.

It's a new Shfl update for the week -- @natepatrin.bsky.social on 2000s underground rap, Megan Iacobini de Fazio on Hassan Abou Alam and as for me? This time around: Landing (@aaronsnow.bsky.social), Chuck Johnson, 12 Rods, Maroulita de Kol and some guy called Brian Eno and two folks he knows.

Really nice review from Marvin.com.mx of Motionless I-VI

Thanks, Ned!
