Definitely an improvement: both trees look more natural now, especially shadows on leaves, the trunk and branches.

Years ago, I stopped due to burnout + being too hard on myself for not improving as quickly as I wanted to. I'm back on track now, and also trying my best to not fall into the same trap.

Learn more about 3D and include it into my usual workflow, draw in my sketchbook more often, attempt to finish at least one project in my backlog... and, most importantly, be consistent with all of the above.

I use a pen tablet. As of software, I usually draw in Krita and add some post-processing in Clip Studio Paint.
