How he got hired:
Boss promoted to GPT:
"Is this good or bad" + resume attached
While for the initial hiring i reviewed githubs and rejected many on the basis of code standards and quality

Am i a fool to write clean readable scalable code?
while a vibe coder got hired without any background checks

ofc all while the code doesnt exist -- for him
says I'm not strong with backend in dm in order to cover up the mess that the codebase had become
and ofc boss will tell me to clean up after

- multiple attempts to slide into boss's dm and cutting off the team to appear superior

- sabotages our work by placing it in seprate file and show it as own to the boss
- tries to show that he's the only one who cares about the product and users
- even for our tiny updates he'll plan out things to do next (as a way to show that we don't think)

- he uses replit and their version of git (which is automated via agent)
- there were two different package version managers and lock files

- deepseek said I'm ahead of 80%; rest 10% are specialized unlike me
- my current profile is suited for small to mid size companies

... Gate Rank at some college here or international unis - but that is out of questions as, well, 🤑.
- strategy is to finish my specialization with fastai, NLP with Stanford and hugging face
- these I had intuitively chosen, i just need to finish them

Playing with code is cool and all but sometimes I just want someone to look after me, feed and take care of me
I hate getting sick, specially in hostel.

Actual Kichdi -> from my tiffin service but you have to inform before 5pm
comment in response to
post
Also they only allow you to buy in 90₹ which gets you around half a KG of the stuff.
I can't eat that much.
I could have gotten actual Kichdi (rice cooked with moong/arhar daal (two variants of lentils in order of taste)) which is simpler and tastier.
So yeah, sabudana kichdi it is.

I took break form my tiffin service to have something tasty but then this 😔
Am i allowed to rant about little things?
But, I wanted to avoid Dal Kichdi - which I discovered in Pune. An amalgamation of cooked rice and lentils that gets a chowka(stir fried spices) - I don't have a liking to it

Work requires me to be so dependent on Claude
It makes me move fast <- that's what work loves

Why i end up there without training and weakest of them all?
Only will to push through

Sorry about the rant, but someone please suggest a solution that can allow my friend to correct his ways on his opinions and his ways
And reduce some mental fatigue on my end.

tell your straight out that you're wrong and you shouldn't do it X way.
Only his way is correct. And when you try to defend he'll go like "you only tell why you are worng"
Nothing backed by facts just opposition and a will to be accepted as better 😵

in tech - he was a finance bro
but over the past few months this behaviour has become amplified
Idk how to bring it forward to him
Not that any slight attempts to just convey my decisions are accepted or listened to.
He'll just come with the opinion, try to enforce it onto you and then ...

about something.
He just wants to listen that what he saw and read is the only objective and absolute truth.
There's 2 ways of approaching someone with an opinion - conveying and annoying.
He does fall in the latter half.
I've bared his habits for ~3 years now but earlier he wasn't actually

about how it's now going to scale (without all the reason and backing - just simply going on about one thing he may have heard)
He's becoming one version of "umm, ackchually 🤓☝️"
Although he is a smart person, still it doesn't give him rights to annoy me when he has not developed deeper knowledge

There's a friend of mine who's new to tech
He has to have a opinion about everything that goes into my work
Like my choice of SQLite in production...
I know my application is a automation that may only get triggered once a day with ~20 crud operations at max
But then he keeps on ranting...

Done with it, lasted about 10 minutes.
Never have i ever explained creativity as a personal definition...
It's just something that exists within.
Interviewer seemed positive.

this is also combined with the concept of webrings - sites with similar theme/goal/person's personality - linked in a ring topology
I haven't gotten deep enough but it's my preferred level of weird + fun 😆

I'd like to add aayushdev.xyz
There's a internet of people making sites more personal and with a older design aesthetic
not focusing on SPAs, SEOs or obsessing over what over the top tech stack it was built on ....
just personal .... & Existing
this is called yesterweb

CSM maybe be able to fix this
It has some level of emotional comprehension which in turn could allow to get suspense
I'm not saying it's a 1:1 solution
we could use their concepts and build from there
(I could be wrong, I'm not as smart)
