I realize that most people aren't going to care but this was a big deal for me and sure I can't do makeup and I'm ugly as sin and I hate my voice to the point I want to rip out my voice box, but the most dysphoric was taken care of and I do have people who support me and to them Thank you! 11/11

After 3 weeks at my parents I flew home walked 10km(please don't do this if you are having surgery) and things were pretty normal after that though I was told to never come back to Urgent Care so that was fun and I have never gone to an Urgent Care ever again. 10/11

Now it was also the first time in years since I've been home Context I grew up in Nova Scotia so it's been a while since i've seen siblings etc also would have been the first time I meet my niece. For the most part my recovery was a lot of sleeping, but I did get out a few times 9/ ?

Apologize for the picture yes eww short hair after 8 days at the clinic it was time to fly to Nova Scotia to stay with my parents and yo Montreal fix your roads it was the bumpiest drive also Dorvel airport is the worst(that is a tale for another time). The flight was better then the drive. 8/ ?

The following day they had my walking to my surprise not as hard as I thought it would be then move me to the other half of the clinic. Recovery was not as i thought it would be context I have cerebral palsy and my right side doesn't work that good hence the gaming with one hand 6/?

5 hours and I'm awake thinking i didn't have surgery lol everything was fine for the most part did a small complication(no i am not gonna go into it cause i am not here to scare people.) They had me standing that evening and let me tell you standing when you can't feel your legs is weird 5/?

I met with the doctor and had the conversation of hey I'm going to need more anesthetic as I have a history of waking up during surgery. To be fair it only ever happened once but it was when I was 4 but it's something brought up every time I had surgery and this was no exception 4/ ?

I had also been dealing with a break up at the time as my partner was jealous that I was getting Surgery while she was still waiting. We are still friends to this day but it still hurt. anyway(there maybe a lot tangents) 30 minutes later they finally get my health card to work 3/ ?

It was a struggle to get to that point as it could have happen in 2017 and 2018 if not for my seizures or paper work not being sent out cause they wanted a "back up plan " for where I'd be staying after not understanding that I couldn't do that till i had a date 2/?
