If you think this moment is about one politician or one press conference, you’re missing the point. This is about speaking up for every single American and fighting for our constitutional rights.

The White House contacted Charlie Kirk and other MAGA propagandists to try to quell the online backlash to his involvement in the Israel-Iran War

So unemployment up. Jobless claims up. Inflation up. GDP down. Dollar plummeting. More wars abroad. Soldiers on the streets at home. By every objective metric, this administration is a disaster.

Today, U.S. Representatives @nadler.house.gov and @repdangoldman.bsky.social will observe court proceedings at 26 Federal Plaza and work to fulfill their Congressional oversight responsibilities. The Members will request access to visit the ICE and Removal Operations NY Field Office.

Perhaps having the feds send masked men to grab immigrant workers off construction sites is having an impact on labor costs as well, but who can say for sure.

The MAGA youth might get sent to Iran because Joe Rogan got them all worked up over 10 trans athletes across 50 states.

How many broken campaign promises is that now? I mean, we know he’s making good on the getting rid of brown people stuff. 🤔

*RECORD SCRATCH* The US Economy: "Yup, that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation."

Four Democratic members of Congress from Illinois, Jesús “Chuy” García, Danny Davis, Delia Ramirez, and Jonathan Jackson, were denied entry to an ICE facility in Broadview, just outside Chicago, despite federal policy allowing them access without prior notice.

“Bloomberg's US Economic Surprise index has turned the most negative so far this year, with a growing number of economic indicators coming in weaker than analysts initially expected.” 🇺🇸 @lisaabramowicz1

"Maybe you should have marched better in Dear Leader's birthday parade. Kidding! We would have deported her anyway. We don't care about you people."

The same people demanding you present a photo ID to vote are perfectly fine with letting you be arrested, handcuffed & thrown into a van by armed men wearing plain clothes, face masks & presenting no identification of any sort.

🚨🚨The White House is pissed off about this ad so you know what to do, share it everywhere! ICE is disappearing people just because of the color of their skin! No Warrant! No Due Process! This is not who we are as Americans! #MAGAKidnappers want an all white America, fuck that‼️

NEW NONPARTISAN CBO ANALYSIS🚨 The big, ugly Republican budget will increase America's debt by $3.4 TRILLION over the next decade, increase inflation and mortgage interest rates, and do nothing to lower costs.

Powell: Increases in tariffs this year are likely to push up prices and weigh on economic activity

In a lengthy exchange, with ICE Deputy Field Director Bill Joyce, Reps Nadler and Goldman are denied the ability to visit the 10th floor. Joyce says it's not a detention facility it's just a place ppl are housed for several days w/out beds.

Breaking tonight:

New in PN: Judge rules that anti-woke is just racism “'I’ve never seen a record where racial discrimination was so palpable,' Judge Young fumed. 'I’ve sat on this bench now for 40 years. I’ve never seen government racial discrimination like this.' *More of this, please*"

NEW: New York Attorney General Letitia James on the arrest of NYC mayoral candidate and comptroller Brad Lander. “This is profoundly unacceptable. Arresting Comptroller Lander for the simple act of standing up for immigrants and their civil rights is a shocking abuse of power.”

Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) Mayor Ras Baraka (D-Newark) Judge Hannah Dugan (WI) Controller Brad Lander (D-NYC) This is not normal. This is not okay. We cannot let them convince us that this is normal or okay.

Padilla: I was forced to the ground, first on my knees and then flat on my chest. And as I was handcuffed and marched down a hallway repeatedly asking, why am I being detained? Not once did they tell me why. I pray you never have a moment like this

Schatz: People are seeing what chaos really looks like. We are on the brink of some very dangerous developments in the Middle East, and we have chaos inside the US—not chaos the federal government can’t control, but chaos the federal government is, in some instances, precipitating or making worse.

This guy—a white supremacist with known mass murder fantasies and suicidal ideation who’s under a conservatorship order—apparently had no difficulty getting a 12-gauge shotgun, a 9mm handgun and a .38 Special, and because this is America, no one even wonders how. www.newschannel5.com/news/newscha...

I am not afraid of Donald Trump. I am not afraid of Tom Homan. I will stand up for the people of Illinois.

I wrote this four days ago. Today, they arrested the NYC Comptroller.

Christina Bohannan, professor & fmr state rep, announced she will be running in the 1st congressional district, facing Travis Terrell & former legislator Bob Krause in the Democratic primary. Bohannan previously ran against Rep. Miller-Meeks in 2022 and 2024, losing by only 798 votes last year.

In the spring of 2008, I feared America was on the verge of war with Iran — and, believing that it’s good style to get to know people before you bomb them, I made “Rick Steves’ Iran,” a one-hour special that could (and would) only debut on PBS. Sadly, this special has become pertinent again today.

Would you look at that.

Food for thought. 🤔 #DemVoice1 #ProudBlue #Pinks #RepublicansAreDestroyingAmerica #TrumpIsACriminal

A US attack on Iran would not only violate Article 2(4) of the UN Charter, but by virtue of the Take Care Clause, it would also be unlawful as a matter of US domestic law. publications.lawschool.cornell.edu/lawreview/20...

Yeah you’ve got hochul uploading an official nygov social video calling lander’s arrest, and I’m quoting here, “bullshit.” They think the feds have overreached and are vulnerable.

Today’s arrest of @bradlander.bsky.social is just one disturbing example of what ICE does every single day across the country. It’s not interested in law and order—this is about spreading fear. New York City will not stand for it.

'It feels different in here': Walz returns to the Capitol after death of friend and colleague

They just detained Brad Lander.

a nation on edge holds its breath as the former host of celebrity apprentice huddles with his advisors, the wrestlemania ceo and the former co-host of fox & friends weekends

America's secret police just detained a guy who might be Mayor of New York City and his NYPD escort. We have to abolish ICE. That should be the baseline Democratic Party position.

Having a bit of a hard time with the concept that if a guy in a police uniform who has a police vehicle shows up I should lock the doors and call 911, but if a guy in a ski mask with an hGH gut appears to be kidnapping my neighbor, I shouldn’t ask who he is if I don’t want federal charges.

Trump is alone, humiliated, surrounded by loser supporters, and extremely angry. This is when he'll be at his most dangerous and will do as much as possible to hurt America and the world.

the moral of the Mike Lee thing—and this is broadly applicable—is that you should strive to be a good person and not a shitty person

ICE just arrested Brad Lander, the NYC Comptroller and one of the leading candidates for Mayor, without grounds. He was conducting routine immigration court work, escorting individuals from hearings. He asked ICE for their warrant - well within his legal rights. This is political intimidation.

This is not normal. A sitting president refusing to call the governor of a state after two elected officials were shot, one fatally, is beyond words. A typical president, regardless of politics, would pick up the phone. Offer condolences.

WE HAVE QUESTIONS… This is a kidnapping. No uniform, no badge, civilian car. Who are they? ICE? Sanctioned bounty hunters? Either way, they’re grabbing people without warrants. How often is this happening, and why aren’t more people talking about it? Congress?
