I'm trying to make a fantasy goth character but like...What exactly makes you read an outfit as goth besides color palette? Like I know how to make a character look rock or punk like (spikes and leather-like material) or make a character look cutesy. But what about Goth? Pls give me some ideas

My Brain after finishing one watercolor dress design thing: "Huh this looks really cool I could probably make another- I COULD PAINT ALASTOR!! ALASTOR IN FANCY CLOTHES!!!!" So...I WAS planning to post some cool dress designs but that will be postponed cause I have HH worms in my head atm.
