Listen. I know people think they are being clever or cute by bringing this up but you could also rent every game for about $4 in 1990 and a weekend or two was more than enough time for most games back then. Buying one or two full priced games a year was the norm. It’s not at all the same.

I expected huge corporations to trip over themselves in the rush to shove AI generated slop into everything but it's been SUCH a bummer seeing it seep into smaller things, too.
