It is okay if you want to give this friendship a chance. It's also okay if you don't want to as well.

your friend fail to recognize about the stress-autoimmune disease correlation is that the stress isn't just your lifetime. Trauma impacts gene activation for multiple generations that follow. Sure, you have some stress, but you have no control over the stress and trauma your gene pool passed on.

I'm sorry you had this experience. You're not alone. My brother (now estranged) tried to tell me that thr amputation I was going to have due to widespread uncontrollable blood clotting could be cured by his special blend of essential oils. Fun fact: he's and ass and was wrong. What people like

Small acts of rebellion can and will sustain us through darkness and difficulty. Art. Music. Laughter. Poetry. Hope. Joy. A stubborn unwillingness to give up and give them your personal power. All is never lost. Regardless of anything else, they cannot conquer your soul. That's our power.

They're also infuriatingly disappointing in the refusal to own or recognize their internalized racism.

Sis. I am sorry, but I'm proud of you for calling it out. I know it is not the same, but I'm feeling some sort of way about people doing that with my disability lately, and I'm tired, but it's ableist.

To the rest of us, your shriveled little balls and beige mushroom are not attractive or a turn on or anything else. Your dick is as unimpressive as you are and as unimpressive as your ability to provide pleasure. I need a tiny dick guillotine and a spell. #witchsky #feminism #decentermen

Witchcraft isn’t always elaborate rituals or dramatic spellwork. It is survival. It is tending the fire when the storm rages. It is refusing to be unmoved, even in stillness. You are allowed to pace yourself.

I love that she's conscientiously made that choice. Such sass.

The only time mine aren't allowed is when I'm eating. Cleaning it before I eat is what I'd do anyway.

I did actually. It happened to me this year, nursing unrelated, cause it was just so fucking cold. Absolute hell.

People can curate feeds they want to see or build, like building an audience. Like, some feeds I follow are because bluesky saw people posting on something I'm passionate about and others someone created. I work too many hours to want to go there.

I got you! Go to the main feed with the house icon at the bottom. At the top you'll see the # sign in the right corner. Hit it. At the bottom, you'll see a search bar. You can type a keyword for something and you'll see different feeds connected to that topic. Then you can swipe r or l to them!

That's a thing that made me leave my ex. He didn't want to do the work. He would grudgingly do work when demanded to or because of boundaries, but he would never actually willingly do the work to be better. I'd hate to live around someone like me if they weren't doing the work. It isn't fair.
