in an astonishing stroke of beginner's luck, my fifth day of glider training had amazing mountain wave and decent thermals in the afternoon. the wave kept us up over two hours, and after a tow to 8000ft we reached 13500ft! www.weglide.org/flight/525633 www.weglide.org/flight/525634
