Oh, sorry to hear that. You might just hear about it or see it advertised. Hope so. Good luck!

I'd somehow missed 28 Days and 28 Weeks, but have just binged them before I go to see 28 Years next week. I thought Days > Weeks, but enjoyed both anyway.

Ah, he says six, but it could be more. Or fewe. Or none at all. *That's* the thing about stealth stuff.

I remember a guy at work who would come up with a "great new idea" almost every day. The trouble was that out of maybe 50 ideas only one was worth pursuing, but you could never know which one. He'd target anyone new until they realised what he was like and stopped listening.

There must be a "dyed in the wash" joke there but I can't be a*sed to think about it.

Not just jeggings, but shackets too. The next step will be combining them into what we used to call 'suits' but will now be 'shaggings'.

Or does it just mark everything as deleted but leave it there for anyone with a bit of knowhow to restore?

I've held off giving old phones and laptops to recycling services because I'm worried I might not have wiped all the data irretrievably. Do you guys have any tips or advice on how to do it short of smashing them with a very heavy hammer?

Not surprising, if you can't understand most of what's being discussed.

You're probably right, though the 'edit afterwards' isn't a certainty. And it's hard to tell the difference - the standard of writing in reports like this is not great and uncorrected mistakes are common.

AI. "Spiral" frequently follows "downward" so here it is again. And now the crawlers will find it yet again, reinforcing that likelihood so it comes out again next time.

A fun feature of the French IGN online maps (free) is the interactive layer which tells you what's cultivated in individual parcels of land.

I think the French and Swiss might not have some of the (to me) rather old-fashioned details like CH (club house) or 'telephone (in a rural area)', but the important topographical detail is all there. But I do agree the OS maps are excellent.

I agree. Yes, the UK OS maps are excellent, but so are the French IGN and the Swiss maps too. And more recently I discovered the Norwegian maps; I don't know the paper ones but the official Norwegian online maps are 💯%.

Recklessly picnicking in full view is despicable, which is why I'm coming out today and declaring myself as a COVERT picknicker; the very Scarlet Pimpernel of picknickers. I've had my lunch, but you never saw me.

What are the chances the highlights show features 3 tanks turning their gun turrets towards Mr President and their crowd control mega speakers booming out "Hasta la vista, baby!"?

I'm probably past the definition of middle aged and I don't think I do any of those things, but I can give you a pic of me leaning against a big sign. Might rate gamma on the male scale.
