Join us in mourning this Thursday April 24th at the new Celestial Beacon. Please dress in black & bring a sign to pay your respects. The Transit Funeral is not disruptive, & we ask that you allow the Grand Opening to continue as normal, we will just be a silent but noticeable presence.

🤔 Wondering what Windsor MP Candidates have to say about public transit? ATWE invited all candidates and all parties to take our public transit survey. Please note that candidates who did not reach out to us were not included. See our website for details! Remember to cast your vote on April 28th!

The public response tells us that people want the tunnel bus to continue for as long as possible. The tunnel bus is 1 bus & 1 driver. The city is getting an influx of new buses & we can handle the capacity. Transit riders should have equal access to the tunnel service, not only for special events. +

More than 94 years after it started ferrying passengers through a new international crossing, Windsor’s tunnel bus to Detroit could cease to operate this summer. + #windsorontario #ontariotransit

🚨Residents in wards 4, 5 & 6 contact your councillor to pressure them to vote against the Mayor’s veto. If we can change just 1 vote, the veto won’t pass🚨 We condemn the Mayor’s use of veto power to end the tunnel bus service. + activatetransitwindsoressex.ca/budget-2025-... #windsorontario #yqg

🚨UWINDSOR STUDENTS🚨 The city of Windsor is treating student riders with disrespect & blaming students for transit problems. Let’s remind them that your voice matters! Please consider coming out or emailing the UWSA about your transit experiences in the lead up the UWSA meeting this Saturday Jan 25
