If Dickens was still around to name brews, my guess is he'd come up with something like Buntingford's Hurricane.

Burt's sporting that Adnams Brewery t-shirt like he personally wrestled a pint glass out of a gaffer's hand. Major pub vibes.

Her work stands out to me as self-consciously haunting. Most of her photographs evoke a sense of unease, mystery, melancholy, and the ephemeral. In my mind, they have staying power. Having artists as parents must have been her good fortune and ultimately a mortal curse.

Solid observation about the Dodge Charger. That car is the incelβs wet dream.

Very relaxing. Other-worldly. I haven't floated for a year, but I was regularly going for 90-minute sessions. What impresses me most about the float tank experience is realizing how much our brains conjure what we "see". In a lightless tank, I perceived the same patterns eyes open or shut.

Do we care that our neon orange, hi-vis apparel blends with the terrain? No. None of us have a clue. If you were a cheeky bastard, you'd say we stumbled into it.

I don't know what I'm looking at, but I like it! Something similar drifted into my head while lying on my back in a lightless float tank (it didn't matter if my eyes were opened or closed).

That's disturbing. On a lighter note, Lou Reed is now playing live in my head "You scream, I steam, we all want egg cream" π΅

Rarely is haiku on social media worth a shit. This passes the bar because it's funny. Check your beat counts though. I'm not sure it's actually haiku.

I love it. Lincoln is underrated in the same way Lawrence Kansas is underrated. Lots of pleasant people in those university towns.
