I need the Beast of Burden to choke me out and I don’t even care if I die.

One: that is the cutest baby of all time. Two: My Snapdragon is also a bobtail.

Me, constantly, all the time, about everything. Today I applied for a job and therefore get to do nothing for the rest of the day.

For me it’s just the hook. Every day.

I’m on the steering committee of my local Indivisible group and they are a great organization.

I replaced a Prius with a newer Prius. The newer one smells bad, has a sassy audio system I fight with instead of watching the road, and gets worse gas mileage than any other Prius I’ve ever driven.

During the pandemic I read Parable of the Sower for the first time and I had a similar thought.

I love this way too much (because admittedly I don’t care for bacon)

It really does. And I ended up hating my car.

I do. I don’t like it when what I’m imagining doesn’t match up with what the author describes. Even something like “Bedroom is the first door on the left” and that’s not what I imagined? Now I have to remake a house. So I try to refer to the maps for internal consistency.

I felt this way and then I got an actual e-reader instead of reading on my phone or tablet. And now I need reading glasses and like just making the font big on my Kindle.

Me: How do you know each comic book store stocked only five and why would I buy them out? Me, rereading: Comprehension is important.

I wish I could rediscover this for the first time. Best I can do now is force others to read it.

I called my rep and cried today. I told her staffer before hanging up, “Good luck with the resistance.” She said, “Yeah, you too.”

I have said “Oh my god. What the fuck?” approximately 3000 times in the last eight days

I titled my TBR “Books I’ll Never Read” just so I’m lying to myself a little less

Just because the narrative is not currently on that path (Broccoli and Andarna bestie adventures) does not mean it can’t get on that path. It won’t. Obviously. But it *could*

I just need Broccoli and Andarna to become unlikely best friends and go on side adventures. That’s the book I want now.

Similarly, I want to have as much fun as I did at middle school dances. Life just hit different with underdeveloped brains.

I read that whole series and no one fucked a dragon once! At least Briar got it before the 50% mark.

Would gothic horror/romance make your cold heart feel something? If yes, read House of Salt and Sorrows. The thing that warmed my cold dead heart was a gay monster romance comedy series about an underground supernatural wrestling ring: Goliaths of Wrestling. It’s my only source of serotonin now.

I love that for you 💚

I love how men will be like “these books are completely unrealistic.” Oh? You think it’s unrealistic for men to love and support their partner unconditionally? To support her goals and not be threatened by her? To respect the hell out of her? You’re telling on yourself again.

I have a master’s degree in education and I say you did read those books. Some of those voice actors are so talented that you had a way better experience than your friends who read those books.
