If the tariffs go away much of the int’l trade damage will remain, the unpredictability will remain, the corruption will remain, the undermining of the rule of law will remain, and Trump’s assault on the US workforce hasn’t even really gotten going yet. but i’m sure WS will keep rationalizing

keep going … what is the cost to US exports when our trading partners implement counter-tariffs? the cost of consumer boycotts of US products as in Canada? the cost of companies being “paralyzed” by uncertainty? the costs of bribing the administration? it keeps adding up

the agenda of this government isn’t simply nationalism. They want authoritarian rule like Putin in Russia or Orban in Hungary. Following those examples, they seek to undermine / abolish institutions (e.g. NIH) that promote free thought. Pediatric cancer research is collateral damage

This BS “renaming” is defamatory and will cost Mexico business from US-based customers. Mexico should calculate the total reputational damage over the next 4 years and sue mapping companies like google and apple for that amount.
