This cut a little deep lmao. Last January the place I was working at got closed due to renovations and in the interim of me looking for a new job afterwards I got like, kind of depressed by the search from putting out my applications everywhere and not having any luck.

You know, just go commission @tarantulateeth.bsky.social, share his art around, et cetera. He's a good boy and very talented artist.

The script for the 22 page issue 1 is "Done" albeit definitely needing revision and I may test the waters with smaller comics. If anyone reading through this thread is at all interested in seeing this project going anywhere, then I implore you to repost this thread and support the artist.

The premise for the hypothetical comic follows the exploits of a team of mercenaries living on a post apocalyptic earth following a world reshaping cataclysmic event that's caused inexorable alterations to the planet's ecosystem and political landscape.

Would like to give further character details upon the request of anyone asking, and would also like to compile everything I've written as of late into a singular proper project bible. As of now though, I'd like to share character art of the main crew for the time being.

I find a great deal of amusement in the juxtaposition here. You've got, casual wear, Rainbow Six operator uniform, and maid outfit.

You know what you must do, go to your local firearm vending machine and gear up with a crinkled up 5 dollar bill that'll definitely work after you continually crease it some more.

I'd like to read more Manga but I feel my issue with all forms of comic collection really is just the form factors. Like Manga should be easier for me to collect and there's stories I want to read but it's like I just don't have the space or storage systems for it.

I understand it isn't exactly full proof advice, but no matter the situation you shouldn't and cannot allow fear to dictate the way you live your life even when all other factors are present.

While I don't know the specifics of your particular, if it's any consolation you aren't alone in this feeling. The only advice I can give right now is that greatest luxury you will always have available is the ability to mentally prepare yourself.

Too real. When I was in the jam of creating videos for a bit I naively thought it was mic quality until I got better mics and isolating techniques and realized I just hate the sound of my voice.

Done similar things before, not with the same kind of cultural relevance, but reminiscing on their existence and the fact that certain stuff I've done has endured and even though people will never know I was responsible, it's kept me up at night. I've since found peace, but still.

I still have to finish Gruenwald's run, his work on Squadron Supreme places it as my favorite Marvel comic.

Also worth a note is the really cool camera work done for single lengthy unbroken shots. Overall, I'd really recommend this film. (4/4)

to earth to the more grim and disquieting characterization he takes on. The film really left me with alot to think about with the ideas it presented. I was surprised how it could take miscellaneous innocuous pop culture references and factor them into it's themes very intelligently. (3/?)

There was a very meticulous attention to little details in the plot, alot of carefully considered choices that factored into making the characters feel very believable. Hugh Grant's performance was great, I loved how versatile he was being able to move back and forth between charming and down (2/?)

I've really loved rereading through this first volume and being reminded of the very brotherly relationship between Butcher and Hughie, how the crew really care about one another and share a strong bond of camaraderie. Ennis' writing may be very particular in this regard in it that the edge can(5/?)

Beneath all of rusty nails and harsh exterior of almost all of Ennis' is work I'd argue is a genuine tenderness to his writing. Preacher and DC's Hitman are more accessible examples of this, but The Boys isn't an exception. I see so many scenes form this comic paraded around for being shocking (3/?)
