they did not -- in fact, one thing Sixers have done under Morey is not work out players specifically because they don't want people to hear about it + figure out that they were fans of the prospect. certainly not an identical situation -- just saying a private workout isn't a prerequisite for them.

Eye of the beholder. My best read on it is a long leash to take lots of shots and be a primary scoring option. Might not want to be with a team that views him as a strong third option doing stuff off the ball. But that is merely speculation on my part.

You’re not crazy. But these deals all have far more player-centric value than Bridges trade (Bojan Bogdanovic expiring as salary filler) and Bane trade (KCP is a major negative asset and Cole is middling).
