I'm new to it--do you have a preferred way to play as far as expansions?? Base game is great but all the modules seem interesting too.

They look like one might imagine space tourists. Tim's rage is very misplaced! 😂

I didn't get much from the play-through videos and had heard some lack-luster reviews about the original. Still thinking about my play last night, in a good way.

Pretty unique game played in 2 phases: First half is (semi) cooperative: fending off oppressors, which vary with (5+) scenarios. If successful (which is not a given!): Second half becomes a non-cooperative, area majority battle.

Haven't heard anyone's opinion about this one (other than mine--I love it!). Would love to hear your thoughts.

Just fine without it but I also didn't regret having it. I think I prefer playing with it. Green sparkle ducks are pretty great. 🦆

The 3-game campaign, similar to what Arcs has done recently, is SUPER cool, as the scope and distance of space exploration keeps pace with new mechanisms, complexities and new game-boards(!), introduced in the second and third eras.

Reminds me a bit of Frozen Frontier with some shared incentives, corporation building and similar complexity levels, but the turn-flow and passage of information from designer/developer to player in Frozen Frontier is showing its might.

Strategy-wise maybe a 3.5. It felt a little like Smartphone mixed with On Mars. Brass-like card play with an excellent entangled economy and enjoyable, manageable bonuses triggering often. Area majority accounts for about half of total points with many other pathways for points totaled at game end.

Complexity wise I like to look at rules & strategy. Rules solidified after a single round of play, very clean and assisted by an excellent player aid, maybe 2/5.

Hmm I can't remember. I looked around a bit and didn't see it for sale anywhere. Might try emailing the guy (that's what I did for Tricky Time Crises). He was helpful.

You will! I say a little more about it (coherently?) on the upcoming episode. I was pleasantly surprised.
