If you want a RB who can improve the pass game... Day 2: Omarion Hampton/TreVeyon Henderson/Jaydon Blue/Trevor Etienne Day 3: Cam Skattebo/Bhayshul Tuten/Brashard Smith/LeQuint Allen/Mario Anderson Jr./Woody Marks

The Patriots offensive line room Signed through 2027 Caedan Wallace Layden Robinson Signed thru 2026 Michael Onwenu Jake Andrews Sidy Sow Signed through 2025 David Andrews Cole Strange Vederian Lowe Lecitus Smith Ben Brown Caleb Jones Tyrese Robinson Demontrey Jacobs

Severance is just too damn good. Best show I've watched in a while. Also, I want to be friends with Zach Cherry (Dylan) - guy is killing it between this and Fallout.

The Patriots have re-signed a pair of offensive lineman to one-year deals.

Adam B. - Snagging headlines. 😉

As someone who became an official for IHSA, the issue isn't the criticism, it's the old farts who have been there for decades who could care less about incoming refs. Also the support system is garbage, the training lacking, and the parents insane.

Opinion/analysis: The Patriots announced the release of LB Sione Takitaki, which reflects two things — Mike Vrabel has the juice on personnel as Takitaki was one of Eliot Wolf’s “guys”, and also a sign of a changing defensive scheme and how player fits are different now.

The Patriots announce they have released LB Sione Takitaki

Random thought on the Patriots' cap space. The NFL currently is in Year 2 of a 3-year spending circle where teams have to use a minimum of 90% of the salary cap. It would not be surprising if they kept some buffer for 2026 with potential Christian Gonzalez and Keion White extensions on the horizon.

This right here is nuts. The guy is on the verge of retirement.

There is a good chance the Patriots 2025 adjusted cap number will be at least double their 2016 adjusted cap number of $159,642,451.

Going forward I will be using $279.5M as the 2025 League Cap number.

I will now have Vederian Lowe’s 2025 salary as $3.41M. His salary increased to the original draft round RFA tender amount because he earned the Proven Performance Escalator.

If the Bengals tag Higgins and Godwin re-signs the Patriots are gonna be in a tough spot. Will either 1) need to trade for a WR, or 2) hope they find one in the draft.

I love so much of the little things about Elic Ayomanor's game. The fluidity in this route, getting the CB to turn before breaking inside. Not stopping his route and waiting for the ball to come to him. Gonna be one of my favorite Day 2 receivers

The 2025 NFL franchise tag window opens today, and if history is any indication, there won’t be much action until the window is nearly closed on March 4.

Well that complicates things.

All I know is if he was on the Chiefs, he'd likely be getting a contract extension and Trump would defend him.

"The Patriots currently have a league-leading $123 million in cap space with $6.1 million in dead money, per Roster Management System." I have the Patriots salary cap space number as $128,685,845 and their dead money total as $6,239,378.

Some stats from Rodgers’ 2024 season: Against zone, 41st out of 45 qualifying QBs in accuracy Against man, 33rd out of 45 QBs 44% drop back success rate ranked 24th out of 34 QBs, in line with Mac Jones 11 yards per attempt on downfield passes, 23rd out of 34 QBs

No one mourns the wicked.

I've been a little too down on this WR class. Looking at Round 2 options, I really like: Isaiah Bond, Texas Tre Harris, Ole Miss Savion Williams, TCU

Dolphins informed former Pro-Bowl running back Raheem Mostert that they are releasing him, per his agent Brett Tessler.

Some important NFL Dates over the next two months: Combine: Feb 27th - March 2nd Franchise Tag Deadline: March 4th Legal Tampering Begins: March 10th Free Agency Officially Begins: March 12th NFL Draft: April 24th-26th

The Free agency class is barren. The draft lacks pop. This NFL offseason will be defined by an unprecedented amount of great trade targets. Setting the table for what should be a wild month ahead with the great @billbarnwell.com 🎧: tinyurl.com/vfe46hkb 📺: tinyurl.com/383dsfjj

Giants announce that Troy Brown is joining their staff as an offensive assistant as part of the NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship. Giants head coach Brian Daboll knows Brown well from coaching WRs in NE from 2002-2006.

Patriots DT Jeremiah Pharms Jr., who was an exclusive rights free agent, has agreed to a 2-year deal, according to his agency @OSMG_LLC. The deal is expected to include a $100k signing bonus and $250k guaranteed. If Pharms sticks on the roster in 2025, he would avoid the restricted free agency

Kansas City's passing EPA (expected points added) last night would have ranked last in the NFL by miles in the regular season. Mahomes' accuracy (completion rate over expected) would've ranked 30th out of 33 regular season QBs.

Purple Rain, in the rain, is the most iconic half-time show moment of my lifetime. It still gives me chills.

Garbage time scores on backups saving Mahomes from one of the biggest blowouts in SB history.

Well, the Jets are going to be in for a rough offseason with Rodgers and Adams on the way out, a new staff, and a plethora of fun storylines. In related news, I started my fantasy draft Madden franchise now that it's on GamePass. Maye, Brooks, London, Bowers going to move mountains on offense.
